Buy Ribbon Magnets! Whatever you do, don't sign up for the military yourself! That demoralizes the troops! Let them know you really care by covering your massive SUV in ribbon magnets! Plus, be sure to buy the ones that come from Communist China. Don't let the Leftist Unions win!

Woodcock coming up short!

Poll favors Baldacci, tax referendum
24 percent back Woodcock; many voters still undecided

A poll released Monday shows incumbent Gov. John Baldacci and the proposed Taxpayer Bill of Rights winning favor among voters in these early days of the campaign. Baldacci, a Bangor Democrat seeking a second term, won support from 42 percent of those surveyed in the July Strategic Marketing Services poll. Twenty-four percent said they would vote for - or were leaning toward - his Republican challenger, state Sen. Chandler Woodcock of Farmington.

Kids come running for the rich taste of Woodcock!

Come on, folks!  If you haven't stroked Woodcock with a campaign constribution, then you are part of the problem.  Woodcock's campaign will be a soft one without an infusion of hard cash, and quick!  Do you want some dago bastard immigrant as governor of Maine?  One that will throw open America's border with Italy?

Or, do you want a Maine under the strong thrust of Woodcock's leadership?  It's been far too long since the governor's mansion has been penetrated by a powerful Woodcock.  Let's grease the tunnels with our money and wait for the Woodcock campaign to insert a member of the Republican Party to fill the holes of Democratic failure!

Next stop, Bangor!
